How to Make Kale Chips


Have some extra kale on hand? Lucky you! Pop some in the oven for ~10 minutes to make delicious kale chips.

✔️ Instructions: 

  1. Wash, de-stem leaves & set kale to dry 

  2. Chop into bite-sized pieces

  3. Toss with olive oil & salt 

  4. Bake at 300° for ~25 min (or 350 for 20 min) 

  5. Spritz with lemon before serving

📝 Notes, Tips & Tricks: 

  • Don’t skimp on the oil, but also don’t douse or they will be greasy

  • Massage oil into the kale a bit to soften it & ensure it’s coated evenly  

  • Don’t crowd the kale or it will steam and not get crispy

  • Rotate the pan halfway through cooking to ensure evenness

  • Extra flavor & toppings: Black pepper, cayenne, cinnamon, cumin, chili powder, curry powder, garlic, hot sauce, parmesan cheese, breadcrumbs, lemon 

  • To store, first let it cool fully. Use an airtight container & add some rice to the container to absorb moisture. Stores for 2-3 days
