📍Introduction
Have some extra kale on hand? Lucky you! Pop some in the oven for ~10 minutes to make delicious kale chips.
✔️ Instructions:
Wash, de-stem leaves & set kale to dry
Chop into bite-sized pieces
Toss with olive oil & salt
Bake at 300° for ~25 min (or 350 for 20 min)
Spritz with lemon before serving
📝 Notes, Tips & Tricks:
Don’t skimp on the oil, but also don’t douse or they will be greasy
Massage oil into the kale a bit to soften it & ensure it’s coated evenly
Don’t crowd the kale or it will steam and not get crispy
Rotate the pan halfway through cooking to ensure evenness
Extra flavor & toppings: Black pepper, cayenne, cinnamon, cumin, chili powder, curry powder, garlic, hot sauce, parmesan cheese, breadcrumbs, lemon
To store, first let it cool fully. Use an airtight container & add some rice to the container to absorb moisture. Stores for 2-3 days
